In May of 2005, Jake created a one-hour drama series with producers Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek) and Julie Plec (President of Television at BenderSpink). Titled THE STANTON, Jake’s series is the story of a wildly dysfunctional family that owns, operates, and lives in a boutique New York City hotel (think The Mercer). In June of 2005, 20th Century Fox Studios signed Jake to a script deal, and, two months later, ABC Networks bought the pitch. Jake completed his first draft of THE STANTON in December.
